Terms of use

These terms govern My Lookam, Lookam’s personal album of virtual try-ons for shoppers. By creating an account, signing in, or using the album or the widget with that account, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service and do not upload photos.

Lookam for stores (lookam.io) is a separate service contracted by the merchant. My Lookam does not replace the store, does not sell the garments, and is not part of the purchase contract. Prices, stock, shipping and store policies are set by each merchant.

These terms do not change the merchant’s terms or Lookam’s business terms, except as they relate to your shopper account, your photos and your album.

You must be 18 or older. You agree to provide a genuine email, not to impersonate anyone, and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts for abuse, fraud, third-party photos without permission, or use by minors.

My Lookam lets you save, view and organise virtual try-ons done with Lookam in stores, including image, video where available, garments and links back to the store. The service is free for you. It may evolve, undergo maintenance, or drop specific features. We do not promise an AI result identical to reality, nor an exact size.

You control the photos you upload. You warrant that: (a) they depict you, or you have express, informed and verifiable permission from the person depicted; (b) they are not of minors; (c) they do not infringe image, privacy, honour or intellectual-property rights, or other applicable law; (d) they do not contain illegal content, child sexual content, extreme violence, or material intended to impersonate someone else.

If a third party claims we used or displayed their image because you uploaded it, you will be responsible to that person and will indemnify Lookam, including reasonable defence costs, except in cases of Lookam’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

You grant Lookam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited licence, sublicensable only to technical processors, to: host and copy the photo and the result; send them to AI and storage providers solely to generate, compress, store and serve your try-on; show them to you in the widget, the album, emails you requested, and backups; and use them internally for support, security, abuse prevention and legal defence.

We do not sell your photos. We do not use them in Lookam marketing campaigns, ads, lookbooks or social channels without additional, specific written consent. We do not publish your album. This licence ends when you delete the content or the account, without prejudice to residual backups for a limited time and to what we must keep by law or in a dispute.

Try-on images and videos are generated by AI models from your photo and the store’s garments. They are illustrative. They are not a real photograph of you, a size certificate, or a professional image commission.

Lookam and its licensors retain rights in the software, models and brand. The store retains rights in product images. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view, keep in the album, and use the result for personal, non-commercial purposes (for example, deciding on a purchase). You may not use the result to impersonate someone else, create deepfakes, run misleading ads, produce illegal content, or suggest that Lookam or the store endorses a message they have not authorised.

You may not: upload third-party photos without permission; attempt to extract, copy or retrain the models; overload or attack the service; bypass security; abuse the album or APIs with automation; or use the service for harassment. Breach may lead to immediate suspension and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.

Personal-data processing is governed by the My Lookam Privacy policy. By accepting these terms you also accept that policy.

The service is provided as-is, free of charge. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a given AI provider will always be available. Third-party outages, maintenance or force majeure do not give rise to compensation.

To the extent permitted by law, the service and AI results are provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation. Virtual try-on does not replace trying the real garment and does not guarantee returns, fit or colour.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded: wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

Outside those cases, and because My Lookam is free, Lookam is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost opportunity or reputational harm arising from the album or an AI result. If, despite the above, any monetary liability arose from this free service, it would be limited to the maximum allowed under Spanish consumer law and, where applicable, to a nominal amount not exceeding one hundred euros, unless the law requires otherwise.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may change these terms. If a change is material, we will publish it on this page with reasonable notice. Continued use after that date means acceptance. If you do not accept the change, stop using the service and delete the account.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer resident in Spain or the European Union, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, without prejudice to any mandatory venue. In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona.
